2007-8 Imagery Posted

(finally)

I am going to apologize at the outset for taking so long with this update. I am posting not only my imagery to date from 2008, but also from 2007 which kind of got lost in the shuffle of finally moving back into our house last October and getting resettled, shooting stills on two movies, watching (and participating in) a 2 year old become a soon to be four year old and the rest of life.

Believe it or not though, I have spent some time making performance imagery in the past two years, not just of my daughters frequent ballet extravaganzaís. Without further ado, I hope you like the imagery you will find here, much of which was taken at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival as well as some recent work from a return engagement this summer at the wonderful Ottawa Blues Fesitival.

This recent imagery covers quite a range of genre and mood from trumpet sensation Shamarr Allen to the 1000 watt smile flashing Stevie Wonder to sousaphone masters Kirk Joseph and Matt Perine, from hip hopíer Ludacris to folk icon Richie Havens to the Israeli psychedelic trance duo Infected Mushroom , from blues guitar screamer Kenny Wayne Sheperd to B-3 wizard Dr. Lonnie Smith and back to the legendary blues of Johnny Winter, from the high stepping, high energy performance of the Remesha Drums of Burundi to the smooth vocalizing of Cassandra Wilson and right back to the visual/vocal intensity of John BouttÈ. I think you get the idea. I have been busy and it shows.

So check out the new stuff and or search thru some old stuff, but check it out either way. And if you make it to the Jazz Fest this year, look me up on the second weekend in Louisiana Marketplace, same area where you hopefully found me last year. It will be good to see you.

All imagery on this site is available for purchase as artwork. You can also license this imagery for other uses. This site is not currently set up for e-commerce, but you can contact me directly and we can talk about your needs.

Remember, this is a photography site. There are over 2200 images on it. I have attempted to keep the file sizes as low as feasible and still have reasonable looking images. The thumbnails are small. Click on one and a much larger image will load. So be a bit patient if you can. I think it will be worth it.

Enjoy
